'Indo-Pak Express' one step away from season's fourth title

Bronx, New York, Aug 19 (UNI) The Indo-Pak duo of Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi are just one step away from their fourth successive title after storming into the finals of ATP Challenger here.

The fourth seeds Bopanna-Qureshi combo outclassed unseeded pair of Steve Davis (Belgium) and Jim Thomas (US) 6-4, 6-4 in the semis to register a berth in the final of the 50,000 dollar event.

The 'Indo-Pak Express' who is on a sensational run in this season, winning a hat-trick of titles in the challenger circuit -- first at Manchester and Nottingham in July followed by triumph at Luxembourg earlier this month -- will now play American qualifier Alberto Francis and Philip King in the finals.

Francis and King combination defeated unseeded Dutch pair of Robin Hasse and Peter Wessels in the other semi-final.
