Segovia (Spain) Aug 4: Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul Haq Qureshi were just a match away from a hat-trick of doubles titles after demolishing second seeded Algerian-Spanish combine of Lamine Ouahab and Fernando Vicente in the semi-final of the ITF Challenger Series tournament here.
The Indo-Pak juggernaut was unstoppable and steamrolled higher-ranked opponents 6-3, 6-4 to enter their third final in as many weeks.
The tournament third seeds now take on Michel Kratochvil of Switzerland and Gilles Muller of Luxembourg, who upset top seeds Jamie Dalgado of Britain and Dick Norman of Belgium in the other semi-final.
Bopanna and Quershi came into the 125,000-dollar tournament after winning consecutive titles at Manchester and Nottingham.
The other Indian in the fray Mustafa Ghouse along with his parterner Frank Moser of Germany crashed out earlier in the quarter-finals of the tournament losing to unseeded duo of Michel Kratochvil of Switzerland and Giles Muller of Luxembourg.
