Injured Henin pulls out of San Diego
BRUSSELS, July 20 (Reuters) World number one Justine Henin has pulled out of the San Diego tournament starting on July 30 because of a sprained wrist, according to a statement on her Web site (www.justine-henin.be).
The Belgian will not return to court until Aug. 5. If all goes well she will compete in Toronto from Aug. 13 and in the U S Open, the last Grand Slam of the year.
Henin failed to reach the final of this year's Wimbledon, despite being the top seed. She was knocked out in the semi-final by France's Marion Bartoli, but did not blame injuries, saying her opponent was in ''unbelievable'' form.
