31. It's not an age when sprinters generally dream about gold. But Sally Pearson is a different breed. She won the 100M hurdles in the 2017 World Championships at London at 12.59. More than the gold, it was Pearson's will to overcome age and younger opponents impressed all and sundry. It was her second gold at Worlds after 2011.
