Is Robin Singh taking legal action on Kochar issue?
Chennai, Feb 9 (UNI) Former India cricketer Robin Singh, whose name allegedly figured in the conversation between bookie Mukesh Kochar and West Indian batsman Marlon Samuels on the eve of the first ODI at Nagpur last month, today consulted his advocate at Madras High Court.
Robin's visit to the court was the talking point here after the cricketer visited the court premises.
Speculation was rife that Robin had filed a case over the charge.
This was fuelled by the angry reaction of the former Tamil Nadu captain yesterday when media, especially television channels, approached him for his reaction at the airport when he arrived from Cuba via Mumbai, on his name being mentioned in the 'Samuels-Mukesh match fixing controversy'.
When contacted, Robin's advocate, confirming that the cricketer had called on him, merely said 'he had discussions with me.' When asked if it was in connection with Robin's name being linked with the controversy, he laughed it off, saying, 'you know..'! He refused to reveal any other detail about the meeting.
