The 22-year-old Lakhani is currently ranked 349 in the world. In her reaction, Isha said ''I'm ecstatic and delighted about playing at the Bangalore Open. It's an honour to be a part of India's first Tier-II tennis extravaganza. I am thankful to the organisers to have given me this opportunity.'' ''This is an excellent opportunity for me to play with some of the top players of the world in front of our people. I look forward to playing some tough tennis,'' she said.

Yesterday, Shikha Uberoi, an Indian settled in the US and currently ranked 824 in the world, was given wild card entry.
