Bangalore, Mar 4 (UNI) Indian wild card entrant Isha Lakhani was ousted from the US Dollar 6,00,000 WTA tier-II Bangalore Open tournament by qualifier Agnes Szatmari of Romania in straight sets 6-2, 6-2, here today.
The 22-year-old Lakhani could not withstand the powerful forehands of Agnes. Determined, 20-year-old Romanian lass did not give opportunity to Lakhani to recover and was at upperhand right from the beginning of the match that lasted for 90 minutes.
Tzipora Obziler of Israel, Olga Savchuk of Ukranian, Sanda Mamic of Coritio, Shuai Peng of China, Anastasia Rodionova of Russia also moved to second round.
