The stakes for ONE 168: Denver have risen even higher with the addition of a crucial tilt in the upper echelons of the welterweight MMA division on Saturday, 7 September.
ONE Championship returns to U.S. soil for its biggest show ever at Denver, Colorado's Ball Arena, which makes it the perfect place for divisional powerhouses Hiroyuki Tetsuka and Isi Fitikefu to settle the score.

Tetsuka has gone above and beyond to separate himself from the pack in the welterweight division. "The Japanese Beast" has put together a five-fight winning streak that dates back to 2021 with all wins coming by stoppage against the likes of Valmir Da Silva, Abraao Amorim, and Edson Marques.
The 34-year-old has made it clear he's as well-rounded as they come, having scored three submissions and two knockouts during his current run. The impactful tenure has led him to a pivotal point of his career whereby one more win could seal a shot at welterweight gold.
Should he leave victorious under the brightest of lights at ONE 168, there's every chance his next bout could be against ONE Welterweight MMA World Champion Christian Lee. But Fitikefu has similar ambitions.
Boasting a record of 8-1, "Doxz" actually entered the promotion as an undefeated star. But the bright lights and jitters of ONE Championship glory showed themselves in his inaugural performance at ONE on Prime Video 4 in November 2022, losing a split-decision to Ruslan Emilbek Uulu.
The Tongan-Australian didn't stay down for long though. He emphatically announced himself to the welterweight bracket with a first-round submission victory over Da Silva at ONE Fight Night 9 in April 2023 to show exactly what he's made of.
Altogether, Fitikefu also has six superb stoppages, which shows he can end a fight instantly from any position he's in. And should he want to keep his World Title dreams thriving, the best way to do that would be to score a magnificent seventh win over Tetsuka on 7 September.
