India's Rudrankksh Patil and Arya Borse settled for silver in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event in ISSF World Cup 2025 in Lima, Peru, after going down to Norway's Jon-Hermann Hegg and Jeanette Hegg Duestad in the gold medal match on Sunday (April 20).
Rudrankksh and Arya fell to the the Norwegian pair by a scoreline of 11-17 in the gold medal showdown at the Las Palmas shooting range, where China's Wang Zifei and Song Buhan saw off compatriots Du Yuchen and Fang Shengjian 16-4 to clinch bronze medal.

This was India's third silver of the ongoing ISSF World Cup 2025 Lima leg to go with two golds and a bronze. They are third on the medal standings behind China and the USA with a total of 6 medals.
Earlier, Rudrankksh and Arya had shot a combined 632.5 to make it to the gold match, finishing behind the table-topping Norwegian pair by 0.1. Individual men's silver winner Arjun Babuta and his teammate Narmada Nithin shot 630.0 to finish seventh in the 24-team competition.
Also on Sunday (April 20), Indian shooters fell short in the Trap finals as Pragati Dubey missed out on making the final, having finished seventh in the women's trap with 113. The top six make the finals. Pragati's compattriot Bhavya Tripathi finished 12th with 110 while Neeru's 105 saw her finish in 18th spot.
In the men's trap, Prithviraj Tondaiman and Zoravar Sandhu missed qualification, having finished with qualifying scores of 117 and 116 respectively, while Lakshay Sheoran also missed out on the finals.
Meanwhile, three Indians began their women's 25m pistol event on Sunday (April 20). Manu Bhaker shot 291 (96,99,96) is in second, while Esha Singh was also in the qualifying zone in sixth with 289. Simranpreet Kaur Brar shot 286 to sit in ninth spot before the last day of competitions.
