Ja Morant's crucial jumper with 18 seconds remaining secured a 127-125 victory for the Memphis Grizzlies over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Jaren Jackson Jr. led Memphis with 33 points in a closely contested game. Morant, who scored 12 points, tied the game with 54 seconds left before his decisive shot. Desmond Bane contributed 21 points, hitting four of eight from beyond the arc.

The Grizzlies dominated the offensive boards, grabbing 21 rebounds compared to Minnesota's efforts. This advantage allowed Memphis to attempt 108 shots against Minnesota's 83. Devin Booker led the Phoenix Suns to a victory over the Utah Jazz by scoring an impressive total of thirty-four points in their match ending at 114-106. Kevin Durant supported Booker's efforts by adding twenty-five points for Phoenix. Despite leading by as many as sixteen points during the game, Phoenix struggled to secure their win until late in the fourth quarter against Utah.
