Jackie Chan suggests Kung Fu in Olympics

By Abdul Nisar
London, Aug 24: Jackie Chan, martial arts superstar famous for acrobatic fighting style, asked to include Kung Fu as an official sport at the Olympic Games.

The 'Karate Kid' star told that he is campaigning to bring more martial arts to the Games and is hoping to convince Olympics committee bosses to include Kung Fu in the competing categories.

The international sports competition currently features Asian combat disciplines such as Taekwondo and Judo. He also told that the different styles of Kung Fu make it difficult to become a Olympic sport.

"I love Judo a lot and I would love to see it included in future Olympic Games," said Jackie Chan.

Jackie Chan is famous for his comic timing, use of improvised weapons, and innovative stunts in his films. He started learning Kung Fu as a young boy and still practices his moves on a daily basis.
