Jaosuayai Announces Arrival As New Flyweight Contender After Flattening Nakrob In ONE Fight Night 32 Main Event

ONE Fight Night 32: Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi promised to finish Nakrob Fairtex with a stunning head kick that would announce his arrival in ONE Championship's primetime show after months of toiling in the ONE Friday Fights circuit, and he lived up to his promise.

The young Thai announced his presence in the ONE flyweight Muay Thai division by knocking out the #5-ranked Nakrob Fairtex less than a minute into their main event clash at ONE Fight Night 32 on Saturday, June 7, inside Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

It didn't take long for the 23-year-old to dismantle his ranked opponent as he connected on a head kick which rocked Nakrob before unleashing a three-punch combination to score the first knockdown of the night.

With Nakrob's senses rocking as hard as Lumpinee was roaring, the ONE Friday Fights contract winner didn't let up, opening with a flying front kick to disrupt Nakrob, following it up with hooks, before landing the coup de grace - a left head kick which flattened Nakrob for good.

"I know that it's going to be a tough fight. I thought it was going to be a tougher fight than this because Nakrob likes to press forward and he has a lot of power in him," Jaosuayai said in his post-fight interview.

"But I studied him, every time he steps forward, he drops his guard. So I predicted I can use my high kick to finish him and I did," he continued.

The finish came at the 52-second mark of the first round, improving his record to 60-22 while also giving him the US$50,000 performance bonus for the thrilling knockout win over the grizzled veteran.

That win might have also announced the arrival of a new contender in the division as he earned his fifth straight win in the promotion, his eighth win in 10 fights in ONE Championship.
