Jeev climbs to tied fourth, Chowrasia 62nd at WGC-CA Championship

Doral, Florida, Mar 22 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh fired a two-under 70 to climb to tied fourth while SSP Chowrasia continued his disappointing show to be tied 62nd after the second round of the WGC-CA Championship here.

Jeev, who is six strokes off the lead at six under 138, teed-off from the 10th yesterday and went on to fire birdies on the 16th, fifth, sixth and eighth and a double bogey on the ninth.

Sweden's Robert Karlsson and Dane Anders Hansen share the joint fourth spot along with Jeev.

SSP Chowrasia who has three over 147, had an inconsistent round as he scored birdies on the 10th, 16th, second and eighth and bogeys on the 13th, 15th, 17th, third and fifth.

Australian Geoff Ogilvy is currently in the lead at twelve under 132.

Tiger Woods, looking for his sixth consecutive USPGA title, blasted two eagles and three birdies against a lone bogey to occupy the second spot as he trails Ogilvy by one stroke.
