Jeev fails to make cut at Memorial Tournament
Dublin, Ohio, June 2 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh's struggle to come to terms with the USPGA continued and the ace Indian golfer played his second successive four-over 76 round to knock himself out at the halfway stage of the Memorial tournament here.
Jeev made six bogey and a double bogey as against two birdies and an eagle to aggregate eight-over 152 to miss the cut by a distance.
Meanwhile, Aussie Adam Scott matched his career-best show -- 10-under 62 -- to jump into the lead after second-round. Scott's total of 12-under 132 is one shot better than countryman Rod Pampling (68). World No 1 Tiger Woods played a 72 and was left to overcome a big deficit of 10 shots.
