Shanghai, Nov 8 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh could manage just one birdie and 17 pars as he carded a one-under 71 and was at tied 21st after the second round of the the 5 million dollar HSBC Champions golf here today.
After no play was possible yesterday, the second round and part of the third round was being played today so as to complete all four rounds in the tournament.
Jeev, could move just three places up the leaderboard from tied 24th to 21st, while compatriot SSP. Chowrasia with an even par 72 to moved up 10 places to the 55th spot.
The World number three, Sergio Garcia of Spain and Sweden's Henrik Stenson were tied at the top after the second round.
Jeev birdied the par-5 second hole and parred the rest in his 71 and his total of 141 is seven behind the leaders, after having shot a 70 on the first day.
Chowrasia, with two birdies and two bogeys on either side of the turn, had a 72. He was now four-over 148 after a 76 on first day.
