Jenny refuses to represent Asom in National games

Aizawl, Jan 22 (UNI) Amateur world boxing champion Jenny Lalremliani has refused the offer to represent Asom in the coming National Games at Guwahati.

Official sources said she had refused the offer on grounds of loyalty to her state, Mizoram.

Ms Lalremliani is currently undergoing a training at the North East Police Academy at Borapani in Meghalaya.

Jenny had been promoted to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police by the state government after winning the 4th World Women's Championships in November 2006.
