JFI officials satisfied with venue

Hyderabad, June 17 (UNI) Judo Federation of India (JFI) officials expressed their satisfaction after visiting the venues for Military World Games and Asian Indo Championship and the hostel, which was under construction at Gachibowli here today.

General Secretary of JFI Mukesh Kumar, along with his colleagues from the Federation had visited the SAAP Indoor Stadium at Gachibowli and the adjacent sports hostel building, which was under construction.

''The Indoor Stadium is the venue for Judo competition in the fourth Military World Games to be held in October, 2007 as well as for Asian Youth Judo and Asian Junior Judo championships to be held in November, 2007,'' Mukesh Kumar told UNI.

He said, ''we are happy that the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh has agreed to be the 'Chief Patron' for the Asian Youth Judo and Asian Junior Judo championships.'' Asian Judo Union technical delegates would visit the venue in the middle of July, 2007, he added.
