Jharkhand, Bihar in Fed Cup final

Korba, Chhattisgarh, Jan 1 (UNI) Jharkhand and Bihar today reached the final of the 30th All India Women's Federation Cup Championship being played here.

Jharkhand beat Maharashtra 3-0 in the first semifinal today at the Hasdeo Thermal Power Station's Lal Maidan. Usha Murmoo scored in the 7th minute and again in the 2nd half's 20th minute while Kayri Putti scored in the 28th. The second semifinal was played at Indira Priyadarshini Stadium where Bihar beat Chhattisgarh 1-0. The solitary goal was courtesy Chanda Kumari.

The final will be played at the stadium on January 3.
