Jharkhand celebrates India's win at Perth

Ranchi, Jan 19 (UNI) The state capital, home town of India cricket team vice captain Mahindra Singh Dhoni, today celebrated the coutry's stunning win over Australia at Perth.

No sooner had R P Singh taken the last wicket of the Aussies, than the people went into rapture taking to streets and bursting crackers.

Long procession was taken at downtown Elbart Ekka Chowk.

However, Dhoni's parents were not in the town as they were currently on tour of south India.

Meanwhile, reports from Jamshedpur said people celebrated India's historic win at Perth and crackers were burst to mark the occasion.
