Jimmy Butler is confident that his presence boosts any team's chances of clinching an NBA title. However, he sees himself as the Robin to Stephen Curry's Batman. In a recent play-in victory for the Golden State Warriors against the Memphis Grizzlies, Butler scored 38 points, with seven rebounds and six assists. Curry contributed 37 points, eight rebounds, and four assists, setting up a playoff clash with the Houston Rockets.
Butler joined the Warriors from Miami Heat earlier this season and has been performing exceptionally well. Despite falling just short of scoring 40 points in a postseason game for the ninth time in his career, Butler's teams have an 8-1 record when he scores 38 or more points in such games. "I think any team has a chance with me on it," Butler told reporters, acknowledging Curry as the team's main player.

Speaking to NBA on TNT, Butler praised Curry: "We got a hellified Batman in Steph." He added that their team is full of fighters who never give up. Together, they became the first teammates this season to combine for over 75 points, 25 free throws made, 15 rebounds, 10 assists, five threes made, and at least four steals in a single game.
Draymond Green expressed admiration for Butler's performance: "He's different," Green said about Butler's Playoff Jimmy persona. Green noted that seeing Butler's intensity and focus up close is impressive. Gary Payton II also had praise for Butler, calling him "Jimmy Buckets" and highlighting his ability to score or draw fouls effectively.
Curry acknowledged Butler's scoring ability by stating: "At the end of the day, you need somebody that can put the ball in the basket." He emphasized that everyone must continue contributing while hoping Playoff Jimmy will be crucial for their success.
Despite his impressive postseason performances, Butler has yet to win an NBA championship. He remains determined to achieve this goal. "I know I want to win a championship," he said. Reflecting on his offensive capabilities, he believes he can compete with top scorers regardless of opponents.
