The JK Tyre - WIAA Women's Car Rally to Valley 2026 is flagged off at NSCI, Mumbai, bringing together more than 200 women drivers heading towards the Novotel Imagicaa hotel in Khopoli. The event highlights themes like women's safety, health awareness and equal opportunities. Organisers also underline road safety, linking motorsport with wider community concerns.
The rally follows the Time-Speed-Distance format, where steady timing and teamwork matter more than outright speed. Competitors must maintain set averages while navigating from Mumbai to the hilly stretches leading to Khopoli. The route covers about 125 km before finishing at the Novotel Imagicaa hotel, turning the drive into a test of planning, accuracy and control.

At the start venue, vehicles carry designs reflecting causes such as women empowerment, cancer awareness and gender equality. Participants arrive in coordinated outfits that match their selected themes, reinforcing the messages. Families and friends line the area near the NSCI, creating a festive mood even before engines start and the flag drops.
The Western India Automobile Association manages the rally and flags it off through Chairman Mr Nitin Dossa, joined by senior JK Tyre representatives. WIAA, a 107-year-old non-profit body, works on safe mobility, road safety education, environmental responsibility and related policy discussions. The association uses this event to underline women's safety on roads and highlight resilience and confidence.
Mr Srinivasu Allaphan, Director- Sales & Marketing, JK Tyre & Industries said, "For over a decade, we have been committed to encouraging women's participation in motorsport, and the JK Tyre–WIAA Women's Car Rally to Valley stands as a testament to that vision. Now a marquee event, the rally celebrates the spirit of motorsport while championing important social causes. We are encouraged by the strong enthusiasm of the participants as we continue to build greater awareness around road safety."
The rally also reflects JK Tyre's long involvement in Indian motorsport, where the company supports several programmes promoting women competitors. This partnership with the WIAA Women's Car Rally to Valley aligns with that approach. JK Tyre and WIAA position the event as a platform where competition, community messages and safer driving practices come together on and beyond the course.
