J'khand governor emphasises to add sports in syllabus

Ranchi, Nov 23 (UNI) Jharkhand Governor Syed Sibtey Razi today said all educational institutions should add sports as an integral part of their syllabus for overall development of children.

'' We often express sorry over the bad performance in Olympics but fail to take any step to improve it,'' Mr Razi said at a function organised at the Morhabadi grounds here.

Stressing the need of proper training for sportsman, Mr Razi said efforts were taken in Uttar Pradesh when he was a minister in the state.

He said students should also keep their ambitions high and chalk out strategies to achieve them.
