ONE Championship recently announced two blockbuster Muay Thai showdowns for its upcoming ONE Fight Night 35, which airs live from the prestigious Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on 6 September.
First, Malaysian-American teenage phenom Johan Ghazali will lock horns with Moroccan menace Zakaria El Jamari in a high-stakes flyweight Muay Thai bout. This fight is crucial for the pair as their recent form has taken a toll against tough opponents.

At just 18 years old, Ghazali took the promotion by storm. "Jojo" knocked out his rival in just 16 seconds. Then, he went on to win four more bouts and earned a six-figure main roster contract in the process.
However, his momentum got derailed as the young star suffered three losses in his last five outings. All these were tight contests, and now he aims to return back to winning ways, but El Jamari will be a hurdle in his path to redemption.
The 35-year-old veteran has defeated Thai fan-favourite Thongpoon PK Saenchai in his second clash. Since then, luck hasn't been on his side. He will look to change that in September, where he takes on the young phenom.
In another explosive bout, Thai powerhouse Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon clashes with the man who is known as "The Silent Assassin" in a bantamweight Muay Thai tilt. Dmitrii Kovtun made his successful ONE debut against Thai hero Ferrari Fairtex, winning via unanimous decision.
In his second promotional bout, he fell short against Nontachai Jitmuangnon. Later, he returned with renewed strength, claiming victories over Thai superstar Suablack Tor Pran49 and Myanmar legend Soe Lin Oo.
However, decimating Rambolek will be easier said than done as the 22-year-old Thai has five ONE victories under his name, with three finishes. When they take the centre stage at Lumpinee Stadium, fireworks are guaranteed.
This must-see event will be headlined by a ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Championship fight as reigning kickboxing queen Jackie Buntan will battle Stella Hemetsberger in a five-round war.
