Johan vs Johan: Ghazali, Estupinan Set for Flyweight Rematch at The Inner Circle 42

ONE Championship has announced an exciting clash of two young phenoms. Malaysian-American teenage striker Johan Ghazali and Colombian knockout artist Johan Estupinan lock horns in a flyweight Muay Thai rematch at The Inner Circle 42 on Friday, December 11, live from Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium.

The two young stars have all the tools to become future ONE World Champions. They first met in January 2025, when Estupinan earned a unanimous decision victory and took a 1-0 lead in the rivalry. Since then, both have seen mixed results in their promotional journeys.

Now, Ghazali looks to even the score while Estupinan aims to extend his lead in a highly touted rivalry. It is a true clash of Johan versus Johan, with both men eager to prove they belong among the flyweight division's future stars.

Ghazali trains at Rentap Muaythai Gym and Superbon Training Camp and holds a professional record of 28-11 with nine ONE wins. The knockout artist, who comes out with all guns blazing, is the youngest contracted male fighter in ONE history.

He debuted on ONE Friday Fights in 2023 and won four straight to earn a six-figure main roster contract. His career has since been a rollercoaster, but he is back in form after a revenge win over Diego Paez in October, snapping a two-fight losing streak.

Estupinan is a Colombian striker with a career record of 28-2 and a ONE mark of 6-2. In 2024, he became the first Colombian athlete to join the ONE Championship roster, and he is known as an aggressive, entertaining fighter.

He arrived in ONE as an undefeated sensation, winning five straight impressive fights. Two consecutive losses followed, but Estupinan returned to the win column in his last outing and now looks to extend his lead over Ghazali.

With both strikers aggressive, entertaining and hungry, the rematch promises fireworks from the opening bell. The Inner Circle 42 will reveal whether Ghazali squares the series or Estupinan takes a commanding 2-0 lead in Bangkok.
