Former ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Jonathan Haggerty has long cemented himself as a top name in ONE Championship. But his latest venture could see him surpass one of the promotion's all-time greats.
That's because on Saturday, 22 April, he faces ONE Bantamweight World Champion Nong-O Hama in a bid to take the latter's crown at ONE Fight Night 9 inside Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

Before the Englishman attempts to dethorne Nong-O in his backyard of Bangkok, Thailand, let's take a look at Haggerty's top three performances in ONE.
Sam-A Gaiyanghadao: Following a promotional debut victory against Joseph Lasiri, Haggerty found himself in the biggest Muay Thai bout of his life when he faced Sam-A Gaiyanghadao for the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Championship at ONE: FOR HONOR in May 2019.
Sam-A was seen as a titan in the Muay Thai world, and at only 22 years old, Haggerty was quickly passing expectations. In what was deemed as the performance of a lifetime, "The General" scrapped his way to the World Title, defeating the veteran and becoming the first British fighter in ONE to hold gold.
Joseph Lasiri: In his aforementioned debut in ONE, "The General" was out to show he belonged in The Home of Martial Arts at ONE: ETERNAL GLORY in January 2019.
The clash with current ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Joseph Lasiri in his old home of flyweight was a tough opener for the Englishman, given the Italian's accolades.
"The Hurricane" couldn't disturb the momentum Haggerty rode in on, though, as the Londoner picked apart Lasiri over the course of three rounds.
Mongkolpetch Petchyindee: After current ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon ended Haggerty's reign, "The General" returned against stiff competition.
After he beat Taiki Naito, in his way stood Mongkolpetch Petchyindee, a flyweight contender who was riding a three-fight winning streak in the weight division.
In clinical fashion, Haggerty showcased his signature combinations and teeps to keep the confident Mongkolpetch at bay over the course of three rounds. His relentless display earned him another unanimous decision win.
