Jonquel Jones made a strong comeback from an ankle injury, leading the New York Liberty with 18 points in their 98-84 victory over the Indiana Fever. Caitlin Clark, Indiana's star guard, missed the game due to a groin injury that also kept her out of the WNBA All-Star game. Jones, who hadn't played in over a month, contributed nine rebounds and a blocked shot.
The Liberty secured their fourth consecutive win with Jones shooting 5 for 13 from the field and 3 of 7 from beyond the arc. Breanna Stewart and Leonie Fiebich each added 17 points for New York, which leads the East with a 16-6 record. Sabrina Ionescu chipped in with 13 points and nine assists. Meanwhile, Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana (12-12) with 29 points.

Indiana struggled without Clark, last season's Rookie of the Year, who missed her 11th game this season. Aliyah Boston had a solid performance with 15 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists. Sophie Cunningham also contributed by hitting five three-pointers.
The Minnesota Lynx continued their dominance at home by defeating the Chicago Sky 91-68, improving to a perfect 13-0 at home this season. Napheesa Collier and Kayla McBride each scored 19 points for the Lynx (21-4). Collier also added eight rebounds and four assists. Despite shooting just 44.3% from the floor and 31% from three-point range, Minnesota forced Chicago into committing 21 turnovers while only making eight themselves.
Angel Reese of the Sky finished with a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds but struggled with nine turnovers. Kia Nurse led Chicago (7-16) with 16 points and eight rebounds.
Arike Ogunbowale led Dallas Wings with a team-high of 20 points as they defeated Seattle Storm 87-63. Rookie Paige Bueckers added another impressive performance with 14 points and six assists. Bueckers has now scored in double figures in all her first 19 career games, tying Caitlin Clark's WNBA record for reaching both 300 points and 100 assists fastest.
Dallas (7-17) saw contributions from Haley Jones who recorded ten points, six rebounds, six assists, and three blocks. Seattle (14-10), missing their top scorer Skylar Diggins due to personal reasons, led by two at halftime but fell behind after Dallas dominated the third quarter with a score of 32-15.
Nneka Ogwumike was Seattle's standout player scoring 22 points on ten-of-nineteen shooting; however, without Diggins orchestrating plays, Seattle struggled offensively shooting only thirty percent overall and nineteen percent from long range.
