Junior aquatic championship from May 18

Thiruvananthapuram, May 15 (UNI) The 24th Sub-junior and 34th Junior Kerala State Aquatic championship will be held at the Water Works swimming pool here from May 18 to 20.

Nearly 400 boys and girls representing various districts will be participating in the twin championships. Competitions will be held in Swimming and Waterpolo events for both boys and girls.

Altogether 80 swimming events will be held in sub-junior and junior divisions.

The Kerala State team to participate in the 24th sub-junior national and 34th junior national aquatic championship scheduled to be held at Goa and Bhopal respectively will be selected from this championship.

Competitions will commence at 0800 hrs on all the three days.
