Junior Nationals begin Dec 23

Tirupati, May 13 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Badminton Association (APBA) will be conducting the Junior National Championships for U-19 boys and girls at Nellore from December 23 to 31 this year, Association Secretary K C H Punnaiah Chowdary said here today.

Talking to mediapersons, Mr Chowdary said about 400 boys and girls representing 32 states in the country will participate in the championships.

The Indian junior team to participate in European circuit will be selected during the championships, he said.

The veteran national championships will be held at Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad from February 24 to 27, next year, he added.
