Kade Ruotolo squares off in an 180-pound non-title matchup against a man who might be his equal. Ruotolo meets Brazilian superstar Francisco Lo in submission grappling action at ONE Fight Night 21: Eersel vs. Nicolas on 6 April inside Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.
The ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Champion shares the card alongside his twin brother, Tye, who defends his ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Championship against Izaak Michell in the evening's co-main event.

Since arriving in ONE Championship, Ruotolo has stomped his authority in the lightweight division. The 21-year-old bossed all four of his promotional outings en route to claiming the division's gold, and he has since been untameable.
The Californian's most recent appearance came at ONE 165 this past January. There, he notched his second straight victory over longtime foe Tommy Langaker. In doing so, Ruotolo remained the best lightweight grappler on the planet.
Ruotolo controlled Langaker for most of their 10-minute fracas. He used his relentless pressure to prevent his Norwegian nemesis from getting close to scoring even a single catch or submission.
With his reputation now firmly intact, Ruotolo's next challenge comes in the form of a youthful superstar. Lo looks to shake up the world in this 180-pound non-title contest.
The Brazilian is one of the most dangerous black belts competing today. In fact, Lo can submit his adversaries with the flick of a switch. Having been crowned the IBJJF American National Champion and No-Gi Pan-American Champion, he is a real threat to the grappling world's elite.
The 23-year-old star pulls from a deep bag of tricks whenever he competes. It's a unique skill set that offers a fresh challenge for Ruotolo. And if Lo can control the American's aggressive approach to grappling, ONE Championship could have a new superstar on its hands.
