Kahlon still rules, Ashok climbs to 6th on PGTI Order of Merit

New Delhi, Feb 12 (UNI) Harmeet Kahlon continued to lead with earnings of Rs.11,67,000 on the Professional Golf Tour of India's (PGTI) Order of Merit list while Ashok Kumar moved up to sixth place following his victory at the XtraPremium Masters in Digboi earlier this month.

Ashok earned Rs.3,24,000/- at the IndianOil XtraPremium Masters, taking his total earnings for the 2006-07 season so far to Rs.554,000 (Five lakh Fifity-Four Thousand).

Jyoti Randhawa trails Kahlon with Rs. 11,34,000), followed by SSP Chowrasia (Rs.9,95,000) and Digvijay Singh ( Rs.8,89,000), a release here stated.

Third placed SSP Chowrasia has maintained his excellent form from last year and finished 16 th at the recently concluded European-Tour co-sanctioned Malaysian Open.

The top-45 professionals on the PGTI 2006-07 Order of Merit have already earned over one Lakh rupees so far this season and with a majority of the tournaments yet to be played, the earnings for this season are set to soar.
