Kalam invites Commonwealth, Asiad medal winners for R-Day parade

New Delhi, Jan 24 (UNI) President APJ Abdul Kalam has invited medal winners of last year's Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and the Asian Games in Doha to witness the Republic Day parade as state guests.

The athletes have also been invited for the President's At Home and about 75 to 80 medal winners are expected to attend the functions.
