Kalmadi to attend National Games closing ceremony

Jamshedpur, Feb 22 (PTI) Indian Olympic Association chiefSuresh Kalmadi will attend the 34th National Games'' closingceremony in Ranchi on February 26 but uncertainty continues toprevail over whether Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would bepresent on the occasion.

"We have not yet got confirmed report about the PrimeMinister. We are expecting a communique later in the evening,"S M Hashmi, Secretary General of 34th National GamesOrganising Committee, said today.

However, Hashmi, who is also the Secretary of JharkhandOlympic Association, confirmed that the IOA chief willcertainly be present during the closing ceremony.
