Mumbai, Apr 18 (UNI) Karnataka outplayed Orissa by 44 runs to record their second successive win in the Inter-State All India Twenty20 tournament at the Wankhede Stadium here today.
Karnataka put into bat first, set up a challenging target of 158 runs before Orissa who were looking for their first win in the tournament.
The team from the eastern state was, however, not equal to the task and were dismissed for 113.
A fluent half-century by India skipper Rahul Dravid (54) and a fine effort from opener Devraj Patil (44) rescued Karnataka from an early jolt.
