Kenny Bednarek has been unstoppable at the Grand Slam Track, securing victories in both the 100m and 200m sprints. He achieved a personal best of 9.86 seconds in the 100m, equalling a world-leading time. This victory came just a day after he won the 200m title for the third consecutive Slam. I’ve been working so hard for this, and I’m just learning so many new things about myself."

Bednarek Sweeps Grand Slam Track Events

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone faced challenges adapting to shorter events after dominating in Miami's 400m and hurdles. She lost her first race in nearly two years to Ackera Nugent, who also won the flat 100m on Sunday. Meanwhile, Alison dos Santos experienced his first Slam event loss after winning Saturday's 400m hurdles but narrowly losing Sunday's event to Trevor Bassitt.

Marco Arop maintained his unbeaten record in the 800m against Josh Hoey and Hobbs Kessler but couldn't replicate this success in the 1500m. Josh Kerr edged out Cole Hocker for victory, while Diribe Welteji narrowly defeated Jessica Hull in the women's race. Marileidy Paulino continued her impressive form with a season-best time of 49.12 in Saturday's 400m before winning the 200m.

Matthew Hudson-Smith claimed his first 400m win of the year on Saturday but finished fifth in Sunday's 200m, where Alexander Ogando emerged victorious. Agnes Ngetich secured a close win in the women's 3000m, while Nico Young triumphed over reigning champion Grant Fisher in the men's race.

The final Slam will take place in Los Angeles from June 27, marking an exciting conclusion to this series of events. As athletes prepare for this last challenge, anticipation builds around who will emerge victorious and how records might be challenged or broken during these competitions.
