Khelo India University Games 2023 Uttar Pradesh: Schedule, Dates, Venue, Live Streaming Info

Khelo India University Games (KIUG) 2023 is all set to start from Thursday (May 25) with a grand opening ceremony in the city of Lucknow and end with a closing ceremony on June 3. The multi-sport event will be held jointly by Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.

While KIUG 2023 opens on Thursday (May 25), the first competition of the third edition kicked off on Tuesday (May 23) in the form of Kabaddi. Several competitions also start on Wednesday (May 24).

There will be a total of 21 sports with close to 4000 athletes from across 200 different universities in India expected to be in action. All the athletes in the competition will be under the age of 27 years.

A lot of medals will be up for grabs and a new team will aim to be champions like the previous two editions. The first edition of the KIUG was clinched by the Panjab University, while Karnataka's Jain University emerged the champions in the second edition.
