Kispest win Hungarian Cup after penalty shootout
BUDAPEST, May 9 (Reuters) Kispest-Honved won the Hungarian Cup for the sixth time TOday after beating Debrecen 5-3 on penalties.
The game was level at 2-2 after extra time.
Kispest took the lead with a well-taken strike by midfielder Gellert Ivancsics in the 28th minute.
Debrecen levelled through Robert Zsolnai in the 69th minute, tapping in after he was set up by Senegalese striker Ibrahime Sidibe.
Debrecen went ahead with a Sidibe penalty seven minutes into the first extra period but six minutes later playmaker Tibor Szabo made it 2-2.
Both sides had a man sent off in extra time, Kispest losing defender Tibor Pomper, followed by Debrecen defender Peter Biro who was dismissed in the second period.
