Klinsmann to take up job as TV presenter in Germany

BERLIN, Apr 26 (Reuters) Juergen Klinsmann will start a new career in Germany next season hosting a football show on television.

Klinsmann, who stepped down as Germany coach after leading the hosts to third place at the 2006 World Cup, will have his own programme on pay-TV broadcaster Arena, discussing games in the Bundesliga and other leagues.

''I don't see myself as the typical TV pundit,'' Klinsmann said in a statement released by Arena. ''I'm just a normal observer, who has as much fun as any other fan.'' English media reported earlier this month that Chelsea had approached Klinsmann about a coaching job with them for next season.
