The entire Bengal and the nation witnessed the harrowing incident which took place at the R G Kar Hospital in the city of Kolkata.
On August 9, a medical personnel was brutally raped and murdered at the hospital, which has sparked mass outrage in the city of Kolkata and West Bengal.

The people have taken the roads demanding justice for 'Tilottama'. From eight to eighty, people across generations protested on the night of 14th August across Bengal. The protest continued with larger volume as athletes, former players took part in a rally.
From the football fraternity, East Bengal, Mohun Bagan and Mohammedan SC - three biggest clubs of Kolkata united in a joint protest rally at the Salt Lake Stadium on August 18. And now, the supporters of the European clubs in the city have taken a stand, as they have decided to launch a protest rally on Sunday (August 25).
Liverpool's Bengal Kop launched the initiative, which has then spread across the other fan clubs. Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Barcelona, Atletico de Madrid and Real Madrid - supporters of these clubs are set to join hands in protest on Sunday.
The protest rally will take place on Sunday (August 25) in Kolkata. It will start around 4 pm IST.
The protest march will start from Kolkata's Maidan Metro and continue to Mallickbazar.

The poster released by the fan clubs also has a clear message to the judiciary system, which demands a 'VAR' and shows a 'Red Card' to rapists and their defenders.
