Kolsawala helps Baroda beat Gujarat

Vadodara, Feb 13 (PTI) A fine 93-run knock by JaikishanKolswala helped Baroda get the better of Gujarat by fourwickets in a Zonal One-day match for the Vijay HazareTrophy at Alembic Ground here today.

After bundling out Gujarat for 232 in 48.5 overs, Barodahad little difficulty in chasing down the victory target.

Besides Kolsawala, Pinal Shah (30) also chipped in withvaluable runs to steer Baroda to 237 for six in 48.5 overs.

Kolsawala hit 93 from 100 balls, studded with nine hitsto the fence and two sixes before his innings was cut short bya throw from Manprit Juneja that saw him getting run out.

Earlier, upon winning the toss, Gujarat elected to batand Bhavik Thakar (54), Parthiv Patel (46) and Sunny Patel(30) contributed with the bat.
