Lang stuns Arvind; India's challenge ends in Polish championship

New Delhi, Mar 29 (UNI) Arvind Bhatt suffered a shocking defeat at the hands of Finland's Ville Lang as India's challenge ended in the 32nd Yonex Polish International badminton championships being played at Warsaw.

Lang took just 30 minutes to send Arvind packing out of contention 21-17, 21-13 yesterday.

With this win, Lang has moved to the quarterfinals of the tournament.

Earlier, the fourth seeded women's doubles pair of Jwala Gutta and Shruti Kurian withdrew from their second round match against the Canadian pair of Fiona Mckee and Charmaine Reid.
