Karachi, Mar 17 (UNI) Geoff Lawson has expressed his disappointment with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for not consulting him while selecting the squad for the recent home series against Zimbabwe.
In a report to the PCB, Lawson said despite assurances from the board, he was not consulted during the finalisation of the 15-member squad named for the series.
Lawson has also talked about the 2011 World Cup and his doubts over whether all-rounder Shahid Afridi will play in the tournament.
''The performance of Shahid Afridi will have to be closely monitored before finalising the likely team for the World Cup 2011,'' the coach wrote in his report.
Lawson had earlier recommended that the board should appoint a sports psychologist and an assistant coach on his support staff, but the PCB is yet to respond to his suggestion.
