Legendary swimmers for Master's National aquatics

Mumbai, Dec 26 (UNI) Several former National champions and aquatics stalwarts will be among the 600 swimmers and divers, from over 20 States and organisations, who will be seen in action in the ''Senate Royale - 4th National Masters Aquatic Championships'', to be held here on December 29 and 30.

The National Masters, to be held under the auspices of the Swimming Federation of India, will see the swimming competition being held at Andheri Sports Complex Swimming Pool here, while the diving competition will be held at Goregaon Sports Club.

The swimmers will be participating in the 12 age groups, from 25 to 80 plus years in this two-day meet, a media release issued here today stated.

A total of 292 swimming events and 72 diving events will be conducted during the meet, which will be inaugurated by the city's Mayor, Dr Shubha Raul, at the Andheri Sports Complex on December 29, the release added.
