Levski rout Chernomorets 10-0 to extend lead
SOFIA, Mar 3 (Reuters) Champions Levski Sofia thumped bottom club Chernomorets Burgas 10-0 today to open up a five-point lead in the Bulgarian premier league.
Valeri Domovchiyski scored a hat-trick, Milan Koprivarov struck a brace and further goals from Miroslav Ivanov, Georgi Surmov, Dimitar Telkiyski, Lucio Vagner and Nikolay Dimitrov gave Stanimir Stoilov's team a resounding win.
Unbeaten Levski have 42 points from 16 games, five clear of city rivals CSKA Sofia who face Cherno More Varna tomorrow.
Third-placed Lokomotiv Sofia beat Vihren 1-0 to spoil Filip Filipov's debut as coach of the Sandanski-based club. Tsvetan Genkov took his tally to 11 and became the league's joint top scorer when he netted just before the interval.
