Lola secures gold in World Archery Meet

Kolkata, Aug 5 : India's Archer Lola Banerjee today won a gold medal in the individual round at the World Archery Meet in London.

Pareshnath Mukherjee, vice-president of Archery Association of India, told UNI over phone, ''Lola has secured the gold medal in the individual event. This is a great honour for India as the competition was tough but Lola held her nerve.'' Lola Banerjee said, ''I am too excited to say anything now. I am very happy and feel deeply honoured to be able to earn a gold for India.
