The Minnesota Lynx achieved their 14th straight home victory by defeating the Las Vegas Aces 109-78. Napheesa Collier led with 25 points while Courtney Williams added 23 points, showcasing the Lynx's offensive strength.

The Minnesota Lynx maintained their perfect home record by defeating the Las Vegas Aces 109-78. Napheesa Collier led with 25 points and nine rebounds, while Courtney Williams added 23 points. The Lynx shot an impressive 54.4% from the field, marking their highest-scoring game this season. Bridget Carleton and Kayla McBride also contributed significantly to the victory.

Sabrina Ionescu's strong second-half performance was crucial in the New York Liberty's 89-76 win over the Phoenix Mercury. Ionescu scored 17 of her 29 points after halftime, while Jonquel Jones added 20 points and 11 rebounds. The Liberty's fifth consecutive win strengthened their position in the standings, giving them a lead over the Mercury.

Lynx Achieve 14th Home Win Over Aces

In another match, the Golden State Valkyries secured a victory against the Dallas Wings with an 86-76 scoreline. Despite missing key player Kayla Thornton due to injury, five Valkyries players scored in double figures. Tiffany Hays led with 17 points, and Janelle Salaun added 16. The team took control with a dominant third quarter.

The Valkyries' balanced scoring effort was pivotal in overcoming the Wings. Carla Leite contributed 14 points off the bench, while Temi Fagbenle and Cecilia Zandalasini added valuable points and rebounds. The team capitalised on free throws, converting 23 out of 25 attempts compared to the Wings' 12 of 19.

For Las Vegas, A'ja Wilson scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds, but it wasn't enough to stop their second consecutive loss after a three-game winning streak. Jackie Young also contributed with 14 points for the Aces, who struggled with a shooting percentage of just 38% from the field.

Lynx's Home Dominance

Minnesota's victory marked their fourth straight win overall and improved their season record to an impressive 22-4. Their dominance at home has been a key factor in their success this season. Meanwhile, Las Vegas now stands at a record of 12-13 following this defeat.

The Liberty's triumph over Phoenix was marked by a decisive run in the third quarter that turned a five-point deficit into an eight-point lead. They further extended their advantage in the fourth quarter with a ten-point surge that sealed their victory.

Paige Bueckers led Dallas with 17 points and six assists, while Arike Ogunbowale added another 16 points. Despite matching Golden State in field goals made, Dallas fell short due to fewer successful free throw attempts.

Alyssa Thomas was Phoenix's standout performer with her near triple-double effort of 20 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists. However, her efforts couldn't prevent Phoenix from suffering its third straight loss after previously enjoying three consecutive wins.

The Lynx continue to impress as they remain undefeated at home this season with a perfect record of 14-0. Their latest win against Las Vegas showcased their offensive prowess and solid teamwork on both ends of the court.
