Madhuban Meadows Golf Course to be upgraded

Chandigarh, Jan 1 (UNI) Madhuban Meadows Golf Course in Karnal district of Haryana would be upgraded to 12-hole course from 9 holes from February next.

The Golf Course would be later upgraded to 18 holes, Haryana Director General of Police R S Dalal said here today.

He said, ace Golf player of India Jyoti Randhawa would visit Madhuban Meadows Golf Course on January 3 and he would interact with the members of the Golf Course.

Mr Dalal said Golf game had been recognised by All India Police Sports Control Board.

International standard facilities had been designed in Madhuban Meadows Golf Course and it was being maintained with proper care he said.

The DGP said golf course was providing opportunities for various types of police training activities.

He said Madhuban Meadows Golf Course also had a modern club house to cater to various social needs of the members.

Besides it was always vibrant with constant activities and periodically championships were also being organised regularly for its members.
