Mah Govt reduces profit margin on Gavaskar's plot
Mumbai, Aug 22 (UNI) Maharashtra Government has decided to reduce the condition of depositing the profit amount from the land that was allotted to veteran cricketer Sunil Gavaskar at Bandra Kurla Complex for indoor cricket training.
The decision to this effect was taken in the cabinet meeting that was held today. The Government had allotted 2,000 sq mt plot to Gavaskar.
The plot was given on a condition that 50 per cent of the profit that would be achieved from various projects on this land should be deposited with the Government. Today, the Government reduced this profit margin from 50 per cent to 25 per cent to be deposited with the Government.
The Government also decided to appoint two representatives in the Sunil Gavaskar Cricket Foundation Trust's board.
