Maharashtra Open 2026: Arjun & Aditya Singh Clinch Men’s Doubles Title as Mihika Yadav, Snehal Patil Dominate Women’s Final

The Maharashtra Open 2026 in Mumbai saw Arjun Singh and Aditya Singh win the Pro Men's Doubles title after three tight sets against Stavya Bhasin and Ammol. In Pro Women's Doubles, Mihika Yadav and Snehal Patil claimed a one-sided final. Over 1000 players competed across three days.

Earlier, Arjun Singh and Naomi Amalsadiwala edged Pearl Amalsadiwala and Stavya Bhasin in a three-set thriller to take the Pro Mix Doubles category. The event ran under the Maharashtra Pickleball Association, working under the Indian Pickleball Association, with MPA President Rahool N Kanal overseeing arrangements.

Speaking at the close, MPA President Rahool N Kanal said, "Congratulations to all the winners and participants of the Maharashtra Open 2026. Watching the intent of players from the age of 8 all the way to 60 cements our belief in the vision we have for the future of pickleball in Maharashtra.

"This is only the beginning; our vision is to make Maharashtra the undisputed powerhouse of pickleball in India, one district at a time." Indian Pickleball Association President Mr. Suryaveer Singh Bhullar added praise for the organisation and the tournament's standard on and off court.

"The Maharashtra Open has definitely been a tournament of the highest level both on and off the court, and the Indian Pickleball Association is very happy with the way Maharashtra Pickleball Association, under the able leadership of Rahool N Kan, has executed this tournament.

"This is something IPA has witnessed across states where state associations have been putting in the work and are building an overall excellent ecosystem under the Indian Pickleball Association as a cohesive team effort." The new MPA gained more than 750 members in its debut month.

MPA targets wider reach across Maharashtra districts

The association leads pickleball development in the country through structure, player numbers, and tournaments within one state. Under Rahool Kanal, the MPA plans to grow active players across districts and introduce pickleball in Tier-2 and Tier-3 districts to strengthen Maharashtra's position in Indian pickleball.
