Manav Das wins LG Noida Open Amateur Golf Championship

Noida, July 27 (UNI) Manav Das pipped Ajeetesh Sandhu in a sudden death play-off to win the LG Noida Open Amateur Golf championship here today.

Das parred the play-off hole to clinch the tie after both were locked at 297 in regulation play.

Saurabh Bahuguna brought in the day's best card of level par 72 to share the third place with Fatehbir Dhaliwal at 300. Dhaliwal shot a 76 today.

Simarjeet Singh finished fifth at 302 courtesy a final round 78 while Gagan Verma was a further two-stroke behind in sixth place after carding a final round 73.

Sri Lankan Mithun Perera shot a 73 to finish seventh at 305 while Vikram Rana and Hyderabad's Arshdeep Tiwana finished tied eighth at 307. Rana shot a 78 while Tiwana carded a 75.
