Tevez wants to move out; Manchester City rejects

By Abdul Nisar
London, Dec 12: English Premier League club Manchester City has rejected Argentinian striker Carlos Tevez's transfer request on Sunday, Dec 12.

Manchester City released a statement saying that Tevez's has been rejected and the club was disappointed by this situation and particularly with the actions of Carlos' representative.

"It is with disappointment that we confirm to our supporters that Carlos Tevez has submitted a written transfer request. The club can also confirm that the request has been rejected," said the statement.

Carloz Tevez had joined Manchester City in last season and has been in terrific form in new season. But the homesickness and bad relation with the caoch Roberto Mancini forced him to submit the written request for the transfer.

Sources said that Tevez is deeply disappointed as his two daughters live in Argentina.

According to Tevez contract with City, he has to stay three and a half years more in England. Currently, Tevez is the highest paid player in Manchester City Football Club.

"This is both an unfortunate and unwelcome distraction and the club will remain focused on the games ahead in what is turning out to be a very promising season. The door remains open for Carlos to be selected to play," City's statement added.
